Even if you think you're SO far from Primary ;p
- remember that your choices now are more important than ever!
Remember you are loved and looked up to!
And to help you "To be Strong and of a Good Courage"
- here is the fabulous Granola recipe from Sister Matthews!
=)
**Great Girls Camp Granola**
5 C. Old fashioned (rolled) oats
1 C. Wheat germ
1/3 C. Flax Seed
1/2 C. Sunflower seeds
1/2 C. Chopped Almonds
1/3 C. Canola oil
1/3 C. Maple Syrup
1/4 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 t. Salt
1 C. Shredded Coconut
1 pkg Raisins or Craisins
Mix oats, wheat germ, seeds & nuts in large bowl, set aside. In separate bowl, mix oil, syrup, brown sugar & salt. Pour over dry ingredients and stir. Spread onto large jelly roll pan and bake at 300 for 25 minutes, stirring halfway thru. Let mixture cool slightly then add coconut and Craisins. Sister Matthews also added extra maple syrup for a stickier granola. (Original recipe is drier and makes a great cereal!) Add m&m's if you'd like and store in an airtight container.
Enjoy!
