2:15 - If you volunteered to help set up, decorate or cupcakes.

4:00 - ALL Young Women need to bring over their displays for the tables

6:00 - ALL Young Women need to come early to practice the program

7:00 - Young Womens in Excellence will start. This is the time your parents need to come!

We will be going to the New Year's Eve celebration at the Conference Center.

Please meet at the church at 4:15 pm.

Please wear your BEST casual clothes or Sunday Dress.

We will not be getting home until after 9:30 pm so please make parents aware!

Be sure to bring your permission slips!

We will be doing a service project. Please come to Young Women's dressed in your Halloween Costume as we will be going around the neighborhood, Trick or Treating for the Utah Food Bank.

We Are Going to the Corn Maze!!

So..

Wear a coat, hat, gloves, shoes that can get muddy, a plastic bag to put muddy shoes in maybe another pair of shoes.

It is better to dress hot and layer than be FREEZING cold.

Our last Volleyball game is this week!!

The game is at 6:00 pm so arrive a little early to practice and get signed in!!

Activities for September 3 &4, 2008

This week, Young Women's will be at Brother B's house for our annual swimming party and dinner. Please meet at Brother B's house at 6:30 pm. No 2 piece swimming suits please. If that is all you own, please wear shorts and a shirt over.

Also, we start Volleyball this week. We are meeting at the our church Thursday at 6:00pm for practice and then we will head over to the Stake Center for our first game at 7:00pm.

Young Women Activities for August 27, 2008

There will be NO YW on WEDNESDAY night because we are all going to the Stake Back To School Barbeque on THURSDAY at 6:30 pm. The picnic will be held at the Stake House with the ball park where we have had it for the past couple of years. If you are still lost, call Sister R and she will give you an address!

Also, girls do NOT wear a white or light colored T-shirt, you may get wet! Hope to see you all there!

No YW on Wednesday, Baptisms for the Dead Thursday!

We will not be having YW on Wednesday night because we will be going to do Baptisms for the Dead on Thursday.

We will be doing a Camp Wrap up for Girls Camp! Come and have a great time!

Meet at the church at 7:00 pm and bring your camp manuals so we can sign off your certifications!

Secret Sister Rules!

You have been given a secret sister, who is AWESOME!! This is a great way for you to get to know each other and to look for the good in others. We recommend three exchanges, one for each night of camp.

The first nights item should be made or could be bought. Make sure that you do not exceed $5.00 for the cost of the gift.

The second nights item should be a thought, favorite scripture or talk.

On the last night, each girl will reaveal their secret sister and exchange a letter recognizing the talents and positive qualities of their secret sister.

Have fun with this and remember that you can really make a difference in someone else's life!

This WEDNESDAY is STANDARDS NIGHT!!! It will be a wonderful evening! We will meet at the church at 5:45 pm. Please come in warm clothing, walking shoes (no flip flops), permission slips and I suggest a bottle water! It will be an AWESOME event that you do not want to miss!

This SATURDAY is Baptisms for the Dead. We will meet at the church at 4:15 so we can make our scheduled time of 5:00 pm. If you have lost or do not know where your temple recommend is, please contact Sister S!

Young Women Activities for June 4, 2008!

June is here and we are in full force for all of our TREK Activities. Plan on a very busy month to prepare spiritually, physically and mentally. So let us begin:

BEEHIVES: Your mini-TREK will be this Wednesday. Meet at Sister D's at 4:00 pm. Wear good shoes, bring your possibilities bag and a bottle of water. You will be having dinner and S'mores after the hike.

MIAMAIDS: You are having an International Dinner! Meet at Sister W's House at 6:30.

LAURELS: We will be heading to the Dry-Pack to do service! Meet at Sister R's house. The sooner we go, the sooner we can leave and get some ice cream and jab! ;)

School is ending this week to our Middle and High Schoolers! Have a wonderful week!

Young Women Activity for May 22, 2008!

That's right! This week, Young Womens will be on Thursday, May 22 for the Stake End of the Year Barbeque! We will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm to give rides up to the C park. The Barbeque will start at 6:30 pm!

Saturday Stake Camp Certification!

This Saturday is the Stake Camp Certification for Girl's Camp! Please meet at the Stake Center from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm! See you there!

1 Yard of Fabric for Possibilities Bags!

All the Young Women need to have bought their 1 yard of fabric and matching thread. Tonight (Tuesday) the Young Women who are attending Trek are invited to come to Enrichment to begin to sew their possibilities bags. 7:00 pm at the church.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) All the Young Women will meet at the church again to finish sewing their possibilities bags!! 7:00 pm at the Church

Ward Pioneer Day!

Today is the WARD PIONEER DAY!

It will be a total blast! We will be experiencing Pioneer Games, Food and Memories! Come to the Church at 2:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 4:00 pm and the event will end at 5:00 pm!

Young Women Activities for April 8, 2008

This week Young Women's will be on Thursday night. This activity is a combined all Young Women. We are meeting with the missionaries and they will be teaching us the First Discussion. Please feel free to bring any inactive or non members with you. It is a great learning experience to what the church is about. Please meet at the church at 7:00 pm!

Also, because Young Women's is on a Thursday night, we will be doing a Make-up walk for anyone that wants to make up last Saturday's walk! Please meet at Sister R's house at 6:00 pm.

Please purchase your 1 yard of material and thread for the possibilities bags that we will be sewing on May 14th.

Also, ALL girls that are going on TREK please buy your clothing (skirts, apron, blouses and bonnetts) NOW! If you wait closer to TREK, you will have a harder time finding things because other wards will be out shopping.

Bonnets can be purchased at Deseret Book on 10600 South and Redwood Road for $4.95.

We will be kicking off our physical challenge for the Latter Day Pioneer Challenge. We will be heading to a ropes course to have fun and start getting the Young Women in shape for the Trek and Mini-Trek!

Miamaids- Meet at church at 7:00 pm. You are doing a Fingernails and Facials night. Please bring your own stuff to use.
Laurels- Meet at church at 7:00 pm. You are making a "Region Dance Etiquette" Video. Please feel free to bring a friend to help with the background.
