The YW were incredibly privileged this week!

On Tuesday, we were able to tour THEE

Original Tenth Ward complex

(Where President Hinckley attended as a boy.)

These old buildings were slated for demo & condominium-ville until they were mentioned in a priesthood session of conference by

President Hinckley.

We sat in the balcony where he mentioned receiving personal revelation. Very Cool!

Sincere thanks to Mr. Fletcher & Mr. Reaveley, Principles of the Architecture & Engineering firms that handled the reconstruction of this historic gem!

And thank-you one more time Sis. Longhurst! I don't know how we would've done this without you.

A trip to Gilgal Garden rounded out our night full of history, architecture and art.

Oakcrest and Heber Valley Camps are just around the corner...

For those of you headed to Oakcrest, you should have received your pink fabric to attach to all your luggage etc. and the packing list. Please call your leaders if you have any questions. Otherwise, see you at the *bus stop* bright and early Monday the 13th!

(P.S. No, I don't know who these young ladies are - but they appear to be full-on fans of Fantastic Oakcrest face-paint!)

And you all should've received packing lists at Wednesday's camp activity for Heber Valley Cabins. We will pass out more on Sunday if you weren't around and have more info for your parents. Just wanted to get out another "heads-up" about the need to get all your "STUFF" to the ward trailer on Saturday the 25th. YES! That's only 2 WEEKS away! HOO-RAY! But by-the-by... We don't have a ward trailer to use yet! Anyone know of one we can use?!? Please call Sister P.
