We recently took a tour of the animal shelter facilities at 511 W 3900 South and want to do a service project to help them. They have a great service so if you're looking for a new family pet (even a horse!) check them out!
Here is a list of items we will be collecting in the neighborhood this Wednesday:
- dog treats (moist, bite-sized treats are the best)
- peanut butter (for enrichment)
- canned dog and cat food
- bleach
- paper towels
- leashes and collars (new or lightly used)
- pet shampoo
- grocery bags
- cat litter
- laundry or dishwasher detergent (Dawn)
- small blanket or quilt (20" x 24" works well)
