...And we're all crazy busy with dance concerts, choir performances, craft projects, baking, visits to family and friends, shopping and on and on! And I don't think I'd have it any other way!
;)
Last week we were able to get out with the YM to see a live Nativity. We were so pleasantly surprised to be able to walk into such an elaborate and well luminaried Bethlehem, see shepherds with their small herd of sheep on the hill directly above us, help with their neighborhood food drive, have shopkeepers peddling their wares (fruits and strange ducks & chickens for 5 sheckles) and of course seeing the spotlighted special family and the Wise men delivering their gifts. It was SO cold - I hope the baby had a heated set of swaddling! We were able to keep from freezing with frequent fires along the route & hot cocoa and adrenaline rushes for some at the chance to pet Cosmo (a Camel) and "Spikey" the baby donkey.
There is a *visit night* planned by the YW leaders to come to all the YW's homes tonight - so no other activity is planned. Free Wednesday night for Beehives and Miamaids next week too. Have a wonderful extra night with your families and keep up your reading of the Book of Mormon so you can attend our next celebration party in February!
The Laurels are getting together soon for ornament making - details TBD!

I wish you all a Christmas season full of joy and thoughts of our Savior and the wonderful gifts we've been given through Him.
Love,
Sister P
